Crystal Memories

"Crystal Memories" is a love letter to Pokémon Generation 2, specifically Crystal. I first started with a drawing of the cartridge using my own copy of the game. I then drew my favorite city, Ecruteak, on top of the cartridge. Afterwards, I started drawing the Pokémon, people, and items. I wanted to represent all the Pokémon within that generation in some way. The characters present in the piece are lifted right from the cities' NPCs.
